What makes me me? Well, the obvious answer is my parents... but I can't blame them for everything. I'm generally interested in most things cultural: art, movies, books, music, etc. I can honestly say at this point in my life I am at peace with the fact that I am not perfect, and do not aspire to be. I do try to be kind, understanding, and good to those I care about, however, and hopefully impact others in a positive way. It seems like that's basically the main point in life, no?
After years of contributing to the mind rot of America's youth as a video game animator, I now train others to do it. Teaching is the coolest and hardest thing I've ever done. I've also done quite a bit of acting, though none recently.
Again, the obvious answer: that illusive little thing called chemistry, which I realize doesn't really happen online. Kindness, understanding, and humor go a long way with me. Also shared interests. I am not a sports fan in general, but I am a Packer fan as required by state law. My ideal date would be catching a show of some sort, then going out for coffee or a glass of wine and discussing it.
