I'm a simple person and enjoy a simple life. I love to travel and have spent a year abroad studying in Ireland and Mexico and traveling through Europe. I enjoy learning and experiencing other cultures and meeting new people. I don't compromise my beliefs though I'm very openminded and adaptable. I enjoy movies, reading, writing music and playing guitar.
I'm a big supporter of social issues and helping people in general. I went to college for international studies and spanish and volunteered allot for Amnesty International and differeing political groups. I've studied Peace and Conflict Resolution in Derry, Northern Ireland and Colima, Mexico. I became so involved with human rights work that I was admitted as 1 of 8 US students to go to Nepal as part of a Human Rights Delegation to meet with people, learn about their struggle and then come back to Milwaukee and raise awareness. This delegation was cancelled just one month before we were supposed to go due to escallating violence. I currently work as a case manager in the Milwaukee Municipal Court. I help people who can't afford to pay their ticket with alternatives to going to jail. These people normally have drug or alcohol problems, mental health problems or are homeless. I really like the work but it gets really exhausting sometimes. I eventually plan to work at the international institutional level as a human rights lawer.
I'm looking for someone who's openminded, lighthearted and positive. Someone who likes to be active and do things outdoors though comfortable staying in form time to time.
