I am a very caring, compassionate, understanding person. I enjoy the person life has helped me become. I like new challenges, adventure, meeting new people and discovering new things about myself. I try to take every experience life has given me and grow from it - whether it is bad or good. I look for the inner beauty in people and not just what they want the world to see. Everyone has something to offer and you may never discover the beauty of a person if you only look at the surface.
I have accomplished a lot in these past few years - my son was murdered and my husband died in a tragic accident and I am a survivor - ready to find happiness again and grab a hold of what life has to offer me. I have 3 wonderful grandchildren who I adore and I spend as much time with them as I can. I also have a son and a daughter - my daughter is married and that is where my grandchildren are from. As a family we have become closer and not let the tragedies in our lives destroy us, it has strengthened us as individuals and as a family. I take each day and look for the good in it and find happiness where I can.
I would like to meet someone who is confident and happy with who they are. Someone who does not want to change me but accepts me for who I am. I would like to meet someone who has a sense of adventure and loves to discover new things. I love to have a good conversation who the person I am with and share in the every day things that makes us who we are. We all have had rough times in our lives but at some point we need to move on and that is what I would like to find - someone to move on to the next phase in my life.
