I love my job, and what I do; however, my focus is elsewhere. I long to have a family of my own, but don't want to get married 'just' to get married and start a family. I think any great relationship should start with a friendship and grow from that point.

A romantic at heart, I feel the first dates should be spent doing things that spark conversation. Although I do enjoy a good movie, it's hard to get to know someone when they frown on those who talk during movies. I'm a communicator by design, and long to have one in return. Conversation that spawns new topics of discussion, but also someone that can enjoy moments of silence without feeling awkwardness.

Something to note, when I say 'smoke socially', I mean to say I smoke cigars socially. I don't smoke enough to say it's a habit, but I do enjoy a good cigar from time to time with good friends.

The type of woman that I'm attracted to, is someone who is self confident and has a notion of independence. She is able to open up to let me in, and allow a relationship to develop. She has a relationship with God, but may or may not have a church home. She takes care of herself by doing some form of exercise, and although likes to eat healthy, also understands that sometimes dessert must be had. She enjoys laughing, and having a good time. I would hope, and desire, that we would share several of the same interests, but also have unique interests of our own, so we don't lose ourselves in each other.
