I am a mother of six children, five boys and one girl. All are grown, but my daughter who is almost 19 lives with me right now. I was a loving wife to my dear husband for 33 years. He was ill for the last ten years of his life, and I never once thought of leaving him. He was my first soulmate. When my husband died, I was in the middle of my doctoral program, and I didn't want to go on. I somehow knew, however, that he would have wanted me to. I found a coach and finished my dissertation, defense, and degree. I am proud of that. I am most proud, however, of making the conscious decision early in my life to devote all my time and effort into raising a wonderful family. I succeeded at that, and I believe my husband and I made good decisions in sacrificing to keep a mom home with her kids. I home schooled my children, who went to public school when they reached 9th grade. They led their peers! One son became the captain of both the baseball and football teams in HS and his next younger brother was president of his senior class and the president of the HS student council. Another son is a musician and teacher, another is a business man with a Cornell U. degree, and one other son is a computer guru. All are entrepreneurs, because we taught them how to be independent and love it! So, what have I done lately? I've moved across the nation to take a new job in Wyoming, and I'm doing a great job leading there. I like my life, and I like who I am. I just miss having a true love to come home to. I have dated, and I have been in a committed relationship since my husband died. But, I still haven't found the spark I'm looking for.

I'm looking for a man who doesn't need me around. Yep. I mean it. I will want to be with you, but it helps if you know what has to be done without a woman telling you. I'm no nag. Never have been and never will be. I like a man who knows how to keep a woman happy. If you haven't done it before,  you won't know what I am talking about. But if you have, then come try me! I also need a guy who is smart, smart, smart. Not necessarily with a fancy degree, but just a good conversationalist who is knowledgeable in many different areas.
