About Me

I've always captained my own adventures having God as my advisor, even though I didn't always use His advice at first, I still got to learn a lot of things the hard way. I started out in Ohio, an only child, and moved to Wyoming when I was 12. I had horses growing up and fell in love with the cowboy way. I just wanted to be a cowboy, but my father insisted I go to college, where I became a hippy. After wandering for nearly thirty years in a marijuana fog I was shocked awake one day by a guy who bet me that my life was probably as filthy as my language. Boy, was he ever right! I eventually came back to Jesus, God, and the church. Ended up being a voluntary missionary for nearly 14 yrs. I realized I wasn't finished with the world yet, especially cowboying, so I went back to school, got an A.S. degree in AG Science, and set out to look for cowboy work. My only problem is I don't have enough calving, mechanical, or welding experience to satisfy any potential employers yet. Not that I can't learn.

I've hitch-hiked all over the country and did just about anything I wanted and found out that doing what you want is not the same as doing what you love. They're on opposite ends of the spectrum. I've sold my own original watercolor paintings; made a record; published sheet music and poetry; was nominated as one of 36 internationally recognized poets of 2004 at Poetry.com's gathering in Orlando earlier this year. (Big deal! The poet's more valuable than the poem. How about a word for the guy that invented the poet, or the artist?) I've been a cowboy, a calf roper, a team roper, a bronc stomper, as well as a stompee. I've been in the Navy; I've been a hippy; I've worked oil fields, and construction. I've been a taxi cab dispatcher and driver; custom picture framer; and I've worked in business printing.

Who I'd Like To Meet

I am looking for a wife. A woman who loves God above all else, and who would love me more than any other man, as I would her. A church-going and/or God-fearing woman with old-fashioned values and a deep sense of responsibility to God, and to home and hearth. A woman who is alive, creative, spontaneous, wonderful, and giving.

Are We Compatible?

We could be compatible on so many levels. Take a few compatibility tests to see how we match!
