Some call me a wanderer, I like to think of myself as a seeker, always wanting to know what is over the next hill or around the next bend. Life is an adventure as I am now learning. Raising two children on my own and losing my youngest at the age of 15 has made me reevaluate my priorities is life. I have done what I had to do, now it is time for me to do what I want to do. I love the outdoors - doing anything from hiking, camping, riding horses and motorcycles to just sitting and watching the sunset. I'm learning to find peace within myself and the world; trying to lose ego and find consciousness. If you understand that statement, then we are on the same page. This is where my new adventures are taking me, to be one with the universe, and I have much to learn. I don't place much value in material things and can most certainly live without TV and its negative energy. Don't get me wrong, I love to sit down and watch a good movie with good company and snack on a bowl of popcorn.  I'm not one to follow standards set by society, I believe the creator meant for us to "just be", not to be programmed from birth to accept rules and regulations created by humans. I prefer the freedom and solitude of rural and remote areas and have no use for city life. I love animals and take in most anything that needs a home, including geese, so beware. I would describe myself as quiet, loving, hard-wo rking, realisti c, down-to-earth, sensible, firm, honest, trustworthy, passionate, adaptable but also somewhat of a perfectionist. How's that for a mouthful?

Looking for someone who loves everything and most everybody, someone who can stop and smell the rain, someone who can find the compassion and appreciation for something so small as a ladybug or the beauty of a butterfly, someone who can find joy in watching a child play, someone who can walk into a new relationship with the innocence of a first love and leave the past behind. I would like someone in my life that loves the outdoors, animals, is not afraid to work, is  honest, faithful, lovable and passionate and if that someone could put up with all the above listed "About Me", he would be close to perfect in my eyes.
