What kind of responses does your photo get?

TRUE put subscriber brendalei through a Pic Fix – a photo makeover to help her maximize her potential. Her old photo was drawing three or four responses a week, she told TRUE. Her new photo gets about 120.

"You do the math," she said. "Astronomical!"

While the old photo, taken in a mall at a one-hour photo studio, was attractive, it didn’t capture brendalei’s essence. So TRUE whisked her off to a professional photographer, makeup artist and hairstylist, and – now her elegant jawline, gorgeous cheekbones and big brown eyes, put a face on her profile.

"The lighting and contrast of colors has made an extraordinary difference in the new photos," she said. "The response rate difference is more like night and day."

Her new photo has also changed how she looks at others’ profiles.

"I used to look at all profiles. But now because of the increase in volume, I don’t consider profiles without pictures. It’s only fair if you’re going to exchange photos to have one posted to begin with," she said.
